Together with our client, we are looking for motivated candidates to fill in the position of:

 

SUPPLIER PERFORMANCE ENGINEER


 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive supplier quality improvement programs; being:

                  o  Supplier Quality – Lot acceptance and PPM measure

  • Review trouble tickets generated from supplier deliveriesD
  • Define, collect and analyse supplier performance quality metrics
  • Establish process for managing corrective action requests efficiently
  • Develop supplier quality score cards and overall dashboard
  • Review component and product quality with suppliers and initiate necessary improvements
  • Ensure that supplier capacity and capability adequately supports the material needs and availability
  • Provide Lean and Six Sigma training or consulting to suppliers – as applicable
  • Regularly audit supplier capability based on the company ESAC standard
  • Develop and increase supplier quality management system by process & product audit
  • Audit our internal supply chain and external supplier processes to ident
  • ify opportunities to improve performance with focus on reducing variation and eliminating waste
  • Ensure control plans are implemented to sustain performance improvements
  • Maintain quality management system documentation associated with our supplier development process

 

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with mechanical parts - ability to read an interpret mechanical drawings
  • Experience with driving supplier quality improvement programs
  • Experience with mechanical parts and mechanical drawings
  • Experience with supplier auditing according to ISO Standard
  • Good communication skills and command of English
  • Microsoft office experience (MS Word/Excel/Power Point/Projects) and good general PC skills
  • Experience with six-sigma (DMAIC, Process Mapping,/Capability, SPC) or other structured problem solving techniques
  • Experience with Lean Techniques
  • Proven ability to collect and analyze data
  • Proven ability to turn data analysis into actionable projects
  • Good communication skills; decision making and results oriented
